One of the many reasons I love Autumn is because it’s my birthday month. How obliging of creation to arrange my birthday in my favourite season!
There will be the faintest sliver of new moon in the sky tonight, and I love the symbolism of me growing with the moon as I move into my new year. I’m 55, and I think this is going to be the best one yet.
It looks like it might be a lovely day today. Although rain is forecast, there are blue/pink streaks in the sky. I have a fun excursion planned soon to a beautiful place nearby, so I’ll be back later.
Meantime please stop by and say hello – that would be great.

Happy birthday, dudette! That cake looks yummy
So, how is 55 looking? What have you learnt now that you would tell the 35 year old you? (Just to extend that interesting concept from last week, and also because I want to know what the next 20 hold for me. I’m 37, and it’s an interesting time with it’s own challenges (how hard it is to age in this stupid shite society) but I can’t wait to get some more wisdom under my belt. So,what does it look like from there?
Happy Birthday and many blessings to you! You are very fortunate to have your birthday during this fantastic time of year. And thanks for the healing thoughts, I think I am on the mend and will be out in the leaves soon.
Happy Birthday, Tess!!! The big “double nickel” should be enjoyed and reveled in. You go get ‘em!
Happy Birthday, Tess! I hope the weather holds for your excursion! I love Sue’s questions about wisdom and aging in this “shite” society and know you have some articulate wisdom and wit to share.
Whooo hooo! Par-tay! Thanks for inviting us to celebrate with you. Have a wonder-filled day and blessings abound for you and all those you love.
Happy Birthday Tess! Lots of love and blessings to you this day. Can’t wait to hear what you planned for yourself.
Have a great birthday, Tess! Looking forward to hearing how you celebrated.
Happy Birthday, Tess. I didn’t have time to bake a cake and it probably would not hold up well via international mail but I did make you a card of sorts. You can view it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/92348589@N00/2902380466/
Cheers and may this be your best year ever.
Happy Birthday, friend!
Happy Birthday Tess. I’m wishing you wonder and wonderfulness.

Happy Birthday!
Have a great birthday, Tess! The waxing moon has many discoveries for you, of this I am sure!
Thank you all so much for these lovely birthday wishes, I had a great day.
I think the question a couple of you asked about what have I learned over the past 20 years might merit a separate blog post – soon.
Tess
Sorry I missed this yesterday but belated Happy Birthday. Glad to read that you had a great day.
The post re the last 20 years could be a biggie – I await it with interest. Hopefully it will tell me what the next ten years have in store as I’m 45 now. ;o)
