Hard for me to believe, but it’s one year today that I started this blog. Happy anniversary to me!
I never thought I would be part of such a fantastic online community of gorgeous, generous friends. I (and my bank account) have been introduced to the hitherto unknown delights of Etsy, I’ve received unsolicited gifts and cards, and generous, funny comments and emails. I’ve had comforting electronic conversations with a small group who get online to chat together about the things that are important to us. And at the beginning of next month, I go to Paris for a few days to meet one of those blogging friends in person!
And with impeccable timing, one of my favourite Bloggers, Towanda, has nominated me for this award. How very kind. I now have the lovely job of passing it on to ten blogs I in turn think are E for Excellent. Here are the rules (although you can break them if you want!)

tess, one year…congrats! when we join this “community” of friends, i think we don’t quite expect it to be so fulfilling. i’ve met some good bloggy friends and have enjoyed getting to know them through the written fruits of their labor, learning through their knowledge, and feeling their collective spirits and kindness. and you have certainly been one among them. you have a lovely, spiritual and quite knowledgable blog.

o.k. i had goosebumps when i read you were to meet a friend in paris…it’s me! yipppeee!!!! and then i read along and saw that you had nominated ‘lucy creates’ for this excellent award. i am truly honored both for the award and to be one of your excellent bloggy–soon-to-meet-in-person–friends!!
i must admit, however, that my original lucy (diamonds) is now having a conversation with the newcomer (creates) to see why “she” got the award that in the past has gone to diamonds
i am so psychotic sometimes…it’s a good thing i’m a therapist

Happy Anniversary, Tess. I think it’s about my 7 month anniversary of reading you. Every since I found A&M last July (?) you’ve been a favourite and first-read-in-the-morning blog.
