Today is World AIDS Day and the theme this year is better leadership. On the World AIDS Campaign site, you can register your personal leadership pledge. They ask that you do one of the following:
- Speak to your friends and/or family about AIDS
- Write a letter or join a rally demanding universal access to care
- Volunteer or donate to an AIDS cause
The site has many useful resources, key facts and information on political issues, as does British charity the Terrence Higgins Trust, named after one of the first men in Britain to die of this terrible disease.
