Thanksgiving

OK, I know we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK. But I want to join in the fun – at a safe distance from all that turkey.

Today I am giving thanks for all the wonderful American and other friends I’ve made since I started writing this blog and reading those of others. It’s such an amazing journey. There are so many people out there I cherish, even if I’ve never met you.

Three manifestations of those trans-Atlantic contacts have found their way to my home over the past few months, as bloggers have generously sent me free stuff because I’ve commented or written poetry or whatever. So I want to tell you about these bounties that have arrived in the post:

One of Christine’s beautiful prayer cards, with a poem I contributed printed on the back.

This gorgeous button bouquet from Those Northern Skies. I’m in awe of how Melissa managed to wrap it so safely.

One of Magpie Girl’s Shrine Kits. She is sadly having to pack up and give away her treasures because she is moving to Denmark.

Thank you all once again for being there, my bloggy friends, and I look forward to continuing the journey with you.

I am really grateful for you too Tess and I loved making those special cards as a way to honor people’s poetry.
