well said, tess. it is learning when to listen and when to 'set aside' that is the real challenge for me. i find that when i listen to all that is around me, themes begin to appear. following the themes rather than every little detour that wants to bounce into my head feels more grounded for me. i am realizing that when I am open there is so much more opportunity to hear. when i start to get anxious I am often reminded of the words, "be still and know that i am God". the verse has a way of bringing immediate peace and calm.

so glad to be journeying alongside you. your words so often resonate with me in ways i have not articulated on my own.
