We were happy in the UK this morning to wake up to the news that the BBC’s Gaza reporter, Alan Johnston, has been freed after so long in captivity.
I first wrote about it here, and am now delighted to take the Alan Johnston banner off this blog.
How appropriate that we hear about his freedom on the day America is celebrating independence. And on that note a very happy 4th to all my bloggy friends across the pond.
