Me times eight

The mighty Towanda has tagged me for an “Eight Random Things About You” meme.

Straightaway I’m going to bend the rules and invite anyone who wants to participate to do so, rather than tagging individuals. But please drop me a comment if you take part.

So:

  1. My earliest memory is of crawling through the chives growing in my mother’s garden thinking I was hidden from view. Unlikely as the chives were green and 8 inches high and I was a moving pink blob. I was seriously pissed off when the grown-ups spotted me. So I guess more accurately, my earliest memory is of being very cross. Oh dear, that explains a lot.
  2. I was at the Stones’ concert in London’s Hyde Park in 1969 a few days after Brian Jones’s death.
  3. In the evening of the same day I saw The Who perform at the Albert Hall.
  4. I’m slightly deaf. Possibly as a result of seeing The Who! I think maybe that’s why I enjoy the blogging community so much: you can exchange views without missing anything.
  5. When I was seven, my dog Sally bit someone. I was nearly eighteen before I realised she hadn’t been sent to a farm in the country to learn how to behave…
  6. I’m bisexual. No, that isn’t another word for ambidextrous.
  7. I hate big parties. My mind goes blank and I have no idea what to say to people so I drink too much and behave like an idiot. At least I used to, now I just don’t go to them. I’d much rather have a good conversation about real things with one person.
  8. I cook the best, crispiest, crunchiest roast potatoes you could possibly imagine.

So enough about me, let’s hear about you.

o.k. so can one be both bisexual AND ambidextrous or is that too many choices thus becoming entirely too confusing especially considering the deafness which takes out one of the senses and if you add drinking then are the senses heightened or dulled and if you had known where sally was going would it have driven you to drink at an earlier age or would you have simply crawled into the chives and gorged yourself on roast potatoes while hiding from everyone at the big party and secretly hoping that the who would come and take you away from it all???

Tess, Oh my gosh – thanks for posting the MEME. I think I might catch up on that little game later this week when my jet lag has subsided somewhat. I loved your facts, Lucy’s facts, and Lucy’s gibberish – I’m tellin’ ya, that girl is a writer!
Thanks for sharing. Sunrise Sister
