An English Rose

britts.gifI loved Britt-Arnhild’s idea to invent Caring Bloggers’ Rose Day.

I had hoped to give you a photograph of my white scrambling rose in balmy sunshine, but firstly I am home too late for sunshine, and secondly it has been raining all day.

So here below is a picture I took a moment ago of my white scrambling rose, that has just gone mad blossoming in the last week, weighed down with rain at dusk with the quarter moon just visible in the sky.

I can’t help you to smell it, but take my word, it is gorgeous.

white-rose.jpgOh, and please be kind not to notice the nettles growing at its foot…

Happy day, my caring bloggy friends.

Oh, a beautiful rose bush. One of my purchases today was a rose bush. It will be a wonderful reminder of the Caring Bloggers Rose Day.

Thanks for taking part.

A link to your blog is now up in mine.
