Goodbye for a few days as I’m going into retreat for the Easter Triduum at Turvey Abbey tomorrow (leaving my long-suffering sister to look after the cats).
I’m longing to sink deeper into the mysteries of Holy Week, and be for a while a small part of the community I love. I’m called by the almost tangible silence that will envelop us during our journey through the next few days and nights.
So to those of you kind enough to read this blog, I’ll be back online some time Sunday or Monday. Love and a very blessed Easter journey to you all.

I do hope that you tell us all about it. Sounds wonderful. I’ve always been intimidated by the idea of being silent for so long… but its probably quite healing. Let us know.
blessings to you, tess. you will be missed.
My prayers are with you. Blessed Triduum.
Thanks to all of you. It was a very moving few days. Want to let it sink in a bit now, but will try to write about some of it soon. Blessed Easter.
